Why a regular tow truck can't get in
Most underground garages in Toronto have ceilings too low for a standard tow truck, plus steep ramps and tight turns. The truck would hit the ceiling, sprinkler pipes or signs long before it reached your spot.
How low-clearance towing works
We bring low-profile equipment that fits under garage ceilings. If the car can roll, it's moved up the ramps to street level. If the wheels are locked, because the car won't start, won't shift out of park, or is an EV with no power, we put it on dollies so it can be steered through the turns.
Once the car is outside, it's loaded onto a flatbed or wheel-lift and towed to your mechanic or dealer.
What to have ready
The building address and which entrance to use, your parking level and spot number, your vehicle's make, model and colour, the clearance height posted at the garage entrance, and a fob or access code if the garage needs one.
Let your building's security or concierge know a tow truck is coming. Some buildings need to approve contractors in advance.
Try a boost first
If the car won't start, a dead battery is the most likely cause, especially in winter. We can boost it right in your spot, and you may be able to drive it out yourself.
Electric vehicles underground
EVs are heavy and their wheels shouldn't turn while being towed. If yours has power, we use transport mode. If it doesn't, it goes on dollies.
